Since 1986, RugWorld has been a trusted and respected household name in quality rugs throughout New Zealand.

We now have a new RugWorld physical shop (tap for details) where you can touch and see products, and ask questions before purchasing- or just come for a visit and work through some ideas.

RugWorld still exists as it always has- we are the same trusted family owned company, preparing for our next chapter.

Our new RugWorld showroom- we have most item designs in one or two sizes, with the balance of sizes available in our warehouse which is 5 mins away in Silverdale industrial area- this actually works well and normally we can get the item in to the store the next day- or if urgent we can have it same day after closing hours.

RugWorld have more than 40 years industry experience bringing directly imported Belgian made and high end Indian rugs and products to New Zealand.

We only choose products that meet our high criteria- if we don’t believe in it, we won’t sell it. We aren’t interested in simply selling the cheapest products at the lowest prices, we focus on higher quality, yet still affordable. This itself can be difficult to describe as many materials and processes we use are different than those of competitors.

The quality of the Premium materials we use ensures best value for your money.

We don’t make huge claims in our marketing, we find it exhausting reading so much marketing. In fact our marketing is extremely minimal, and most of our customers are referrals from existing customers. We don’t use our customer information for anything other than your sale and delivery- so no mailing lists and no subscriptions.
